Charlotte is an approximately 3-4 year old female, black and white tuxedo cat that came to Post Pet Hospital abandoned on the front step over night. She was discovered the next morning in a small carrier with her two deceased newborn kittens, hungry and covered in fleas. It was noted upon exam that she also had a couple of broken canine teeth that would need to be removed. Charlotte was scanned for a microchip on the off chance that she might have an owner looking for her, but none was found.
After being treated with Revolution for fleas, Charlotte headed home with one of the employees for some TLC. She also needed to gain a little weight and what little milk she was producing needed to dry up. Within the next three months, she gained the weight she needed to, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, was spayed, had a dental with a couple extractions and was vaccinated.
Charlotte is now looking for a home of her own. She is looking for an indoor only home. She would probably do best in a home without other cats. Calmer dogs that won’t be in her face all the time would probably be ok with her. At first, she may swat at them if they get in her space, but she gets used to them pretty quickly. She has been around older kids and been fine with them.
